In February 2008 I arrived in Prague, Czech Republic. I remember stepping off the plane, after over 24 hours of flying and thinking, "Where AM I?" "How am I going to learn this crazy language?" "Why again did God bring me here??"

Yesterday, two of our employees were on the way to work and lost control
on the dirt road. The truck skidded and flipped into a tree crushing the
cab.
The driver was pinned in the truck by the cab roof and had to be cut out
by the jaws of life. He was taken via ambulance to Huntsville Memorial
Hospital and thankfully his only injuries were cuts, bruises and a hurt
arm. He was released to go home.

The passenger was unconscious and bleeding.  A neighbor stopped and
called 911 then he called us at camp.  Another neighbor stopped to help.

Last summer during a period of extreme difficulty,  God's awesome presence flooded my heart through a picture hanging in the Christian Source book store.  Every time I went in the store it ministered to me.  I wanted to purchase it,  but it was not a need so I always just looked at it when I went to the store.  Today,  when I went in I saw that it was on sale.  I asked the first person I saw whether they did layaways.  She said no but after I explained how the picture had touched me she said yes.  Later the store clerk told me the women I spoke to was the owner and not usually in the

I met with a new customer today through a referral of an old customer. 
He is building a hotel now.  He is ready to start a mini-truck stop
Convenience store and a shopping center.  He is sending current
letters, documents and permits and a $1000 retainer fee tomorrow in the
mail.  This is a really big project with future growth potential.  What
an incredible blessing.  I hope to have a preliminary plan ready for
Texas City to see by either next Tuesday or the one after that
depending on the customers requirements.

The seeds of this site go back many years. I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as a child, but that didn't seem to make much difference at the time. Many years later, after lots of "fun times" and many more disaterous times, I was still struggling with life. I think that if we are really honest with ourselves, we all wrestle with every avenue of the world around us. Such was my life in 1999 when we were looking for something wonderful to do for a final family vacation before our oldest went off to college.
